xScion Consulting Triangle (xCT)

In every consulting engagement there are three parties involved: the client, the consultant and xScion. For the relationship among these three parties to be harmonious and the engagement successful, a balance among individual objectives must be attained. Clients expect their partners to provide not only value, but also integrity, accountability and solid results. Our Consultants desire stable employment, competitive benefits and compensation, rewarding work and the opportunity for advancement. For xScion, we strive to obtain engagements that aid our objectives of repeat business, increased responsibility and profits commensurate with the high-value services we deliver. Keeping the concept of balance among these three entities in mind, we call this relationship the xScion Consulting Triangle (xCT).

For us, doing the right thing is paramount. Using the xCT as a framework for our actions insures that xScion does the right thing. More than a Mission Statement or a business philosophy, it is a code of conduct.

Best Practices

At it's essence, IT Professional Services is a simple business. First, define the client's business challenges, next craft the right solution and finally, develop and follow a plan to implement that solution. In reality, there is much more to it, and unfortunately, in practice many IT services companies are just not capable of delivering solutions.

xScion's approach to achieving success is to use tested best practices for each of the functional areas that comprise a complete services firm. Our best practices were developed using our extensive experience in sales, recruiting, service delivery and consultant management. Lying atop the xScion Consulting Triangle and our core values, these best practices cap our Business Approach with a structured roadmap for delivering successful projects for our clients, our Consultants and xScion. Please see the Best Practices section for further details.
